On Friday night, I had a delicious meal at Sant Ambroeus in Southampton. Whenever I want to indulge in a hearty Italian meal, I make sure it’s worth it, and this restaurant is incredible. After eating some fresh prosciutto and melon and bolognese, I came back to my house and relaxed in the backyard in front of the chimineo and digested. I love wearing neutrals with some lipstick and a fun purse. Being comfortable is one of the most important things I keep in mind while getting dressed. I wore a pair of J Brand legging jeans which have the perfect amount of stretch in them, and have a flattering dark wash. I think when trying the “jegging” trend, it’s better to keep the color of the pants darker to hide any imperfections. My soft beige top from Chloé is simple but the tailoring of it makes it stand out. I wore Estee Lauder lipstick in Poppy which is my perfect summer pink — it’s soft and looks great with a bit of a tan. I wore a small Jerome Dreyfuss purse. The olive and maroon colors look great together, and one of my favorite things about it is that there is a tiny flashlight that comes inside of it. Such a clever idea!
On Saturday night I went to an party hosted by Jon Bon Jovi and Tom Colicchio that was thrown in a couple’s backyard in Southampton. The event was for “What’s On the Table?” which helps low-income New Yorkers get the support services they need such as income, education, stability, and health. It was very inspiring to see that we can get together as New Yorkers and help those who need it. I wore white linen SportMax trousers with a Madewell belt. I love the sweet Peter Pan collar on this Topshop top. Even sweeter? The print has little kisses all over it!
Sunday evening was absolutely gorgeous. There was a cool breeze and it was really starting to feel like Fall. I strolled around Soho, window shopping and browsing the vendors selling various things on the street. I stopped and took a picture in front of the new Tiffany store, which is under construction. They invited four artists to make murals on the scaffolding based on true love. I wore a long gauzy skirt by Aiko with a drawstring waist with a cropped Pink Floyd t-shirt. I paired my subtle rocker look with a classic Levi’s denim jacket and Jerome Dreyfuss purse. The tortoise sunglasses with gold-lined frames are by Rebecca Minkoff.
